Don't You Dig This Life?
Aug. 12th, 2006 03:32 pmI just got news that someone very important to my family passed away this morning. I didn't think it would make such an impact, but I knew what had happened the minute the phone rang and I just fell apart. We knew it was coming but it hurts none the less.
He had been in our lives for as long as I can remember, he was there even before I was born. I'm sure mum and gran knew him from church. That's where I knew him from. He was a good man. He would come to our house and administer to gran when she was sick. Very religious man and one of the few that I could ever stand from church. He was practically family. He always saw the best in people and believed in them no matter what.
This hurts a lot more than I thought it would.
For those of you that are religious pray for his family, will you? Bill Hunt was a good man and it certainly stings to think that he's gone.
